EPL: It’s not over yet – Declan Rice on title race after Arsenal defeat

Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice, has insisted they still stand a chance of winning the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners lost 2-0 to Aston Villa on Sunday, a result which means they stayed behind champions Manchester City on the table.

With five fixtures left for all the top three teams, most observers believe City will close out the race in typical style.

But Rice said: “It’s not over yet. We’re in an unbelievable position. We’re still ready, we’re still fully focused on what we want to do and what we can achieve”.

“There’s going to be many more twists and turns in the Premier League. Anything can happen”.

Up next for Arsenal is the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich. The first leg ended 2-2 in London
