My Adventures with Superman Season 2 Trailer Sets Premiere Date

The premiere date for My Adventures with Superman Season 2 has been revealed, as Adult Swim’s acclaimed DC show will return on Saturday, May 25.

The animated series will be back on Adult Swim with back-to-back episodes at midnight ET/PT on Adult Swim as of May 25. New episodes will then follow every Sunday. Episodes will also be available to stream Sundays on the Max streaming service.

What to know about My Adventures with Superman

Hailing from Warner Bros. Animation, My Adventures with Superman is described as a “serialized coming-of-age story”. It centers on the characters of Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen as twentysomethings. In particular, the show follows Clark as he tries to explore his origins as Superman and tracks Lois on her way to becoming a famous reporter. They team up with Clark’s best friend, Jimmy, to break important stories and save the day.

In the upcoming season, the trio has to contend with several different threats. That includes powerful foes from Clark’s alien past, in addition to Amanda Waller taking aim at Superman. Lois, meanwhile, grapples with her future and Jimmy Olsen ends up spending an unbelievable amount of money. All this happens while Krypton comes for the young heroes, testing their love and loyalty as it’s never been tested before.

The main cast features Jack Quaid as the voice of Superman/Clark Kent, Alice Lee as the voice of Lois Lane, and Ishmel Sahid as the voice of Jimmy Olsen. The recurring and guest voices in My Adventures with Superman Season 1 also included Darrell Brown as Perry White, Kari Wahlgren as Martha Kent, Young Clark Kent, Reid Scott as Jonathan Kent, Jason Marnocha as Jor-El, Zehra Fazal as Leslie Willis/Livewire, Azuri Hardy-Jones as Flip Johnson, Chris Parnell as Slade Wilson, and Debra Wilson as Amanda Waller, among others.

Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) serves as executive producer. Jake Wyatt (Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus) and Brendan Clogher (Voltron: Legendary Defender) serve as co-executive producers and showrunners. Josie Campbell (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) serves as co-producer.

My Adventures with Superman has so far garnered a strongly positive response from both audiences and critics and has been cited as a standout adaptation for the iconic comic book character.
