New A Quiet Place Day One Trailer Is Unleashed for Horror Prequel

The new A Quiet Place Day One trailer has dropped for Michael Sarnoski’s prequel to the intense horror smash hit.

A Quiet Place: Day One is the prequel to the acclaimed A Quiet Place film franchise. It delves into the day the alien creatures first invade Earth, focusing on two characters, Sam and Eric, as chaos unfolds in New York City.

The A Quiet Place Day One trailer starts with Sam (Lupita Nyong’o) barely surviving the initial invasion before stumbling across Eric (Joseph Quinn) in an alley. Their little survival team also includes a cat.

Unlike the previous films, which centered around a family, this installment delves into the individual journeys of disparate characters who must come together to survive in a bleak and dangerous new reality.

A new poster accompanied the new trailer as well.

The cast of A Quiet Place Day One includes Lupita Nyong’o (Us), Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things), Alex Wolff (Hereditary), Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy), and Eliane Umuhire.

In addition to the upcoming prequel/spin-off, John Krasinski is developing a third main-series film in the A Quiet Place saga. A video game based on (and sharing continuity with) the film series is also in the works.

A Quiet Place Day One is exclusively in theaters from June 28, 2024.
