A female dance teacher has been accused of having s*x with a 15-year-old girl and has been arrested consequently.

According to Daily Star UK, Lauren Debenedetta, 38, was allegedly bedding the teen female student when the girl's stepfather walked in.

He was checking up on his stepdaughter, who was meant to be off school ill, when he found the them in bed together.

He then told cops in North Port, Florida, of the under-age affair, it has been reported.

Now Debenedetta, who worked at Haven Dance Studio, has been arrested on suspicion of molesting the young girl.

Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said the teacher is facing two counts of lewd and lascivious battery after being accused of performing sexual acts on the girl.

According to the police station, Debenedetta told the girl’s stepdad to shut the door when he found them in bed together.

Initially the girl denied the affair, but later admitted engaging in sexual activity with Debenedetta during interviews.

He then called the girl’s mother to tell her about the incident.

Court documents show Debenedetta had contacted the student on the day she was home sick and asked if she could come over.

The pair allegedly kissed and engaged in sexual activity together, the documents revealed.

Haven Dance Studio has been shut following Debenedetta’s arrest.
