Two hours gone! Still nothing.



“Or did mumsy go out and forgot that she locked us”
Every where was still tensed as the clock ticked louder than normal.


Bang!! Was the sound wet heard from the main door. It was a metal door which was an entrance to the sitting room. And from the sound we heard I assumed it was opened nonchalantly. We heard footsteps, maybe they were three or four prep people approaching the room. We heard jingling of keys, opening the door.



“Officer, this is the b-----d”my mum said pointing to mark, who was now startled.



So my mum called the police. Hmm! This s--t is getting real. “You are under arrest” one of the three policemen said while the others made to handcuff Mark.



Haha! I wanted to hear why he was being arrested, perhaps arrested for banging two sisters who voluntarily opened their legs for him. Niger and their ways. They took the mute Mark away leaving just I, Rachael and my mum.


My mum stared from me to Rachael, hands akimbo.



“Am ashamed of you Nancy, you are a disgrace to your father’s family not mine, just see where you landed yourself and I have good news for you, your uncle has finished processing your visa to go study abroad, but I told him to cancel it because you still have a whole lot of work to do here about the baby in your stomach”
Hey! Am finished, the long awaited Visa, I have even bragged to my friends that I would soon be leaving the country for them.


“Madam! Big woman. God knows I never knew any man till the age of twenty four on my matrimonial bed” this time my mother was already sobbing add tears is pain escaped they’ll through her tear gland. She was looking at Rachael who was already crying profusely. “Mummy am sorry” she managed to voice out.
